This is an advanced, 2-day course on medical aspects of CPS practice meant to enhance the specialized skills necessary for CPS staff to better assess safety and risk to children. It seeks to expand on the medical issues first introduced in the Common Core and CPS Response Training. This is a 2-day course that is designed to expand on the legal issues first introduced in the Common Core and CPSRT. The Speakers Bureau program delivers half-day workshops to Child Protective Service caseworkers throughout all of New York State. |
