February, 2016 - Matthew Moore, MSW, 2009, was honored by Senator Thomas D. Croci at a ceremony on February 26 commemorating Black History Month. The event honored several outstanding individuals for their tireless efforts and positive contributions to serving the community. As a first generation college student, a youth mentor and an educator, Matthew is fueled with a passion for higher education that allows him to focus his volunteer and professional efforts on his goal to close the achievement gap by empowering college-bound minority students. Congratulations to Matthew on receiving this award.
