In honor of Social Work Awareness month in March, Dean Jacqueline Mondros gave the keynote address at the The New York City Human Resources Administration conference. Speaking to an audience of social workers and those in the helping profession and with the theme of “Social Workers Stand Up!”, Dean Mondros spoke about standing up and responding to the changing political landscape.
The New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) is dedicated to fighting poverty and income inequality by providing New Yorkers in need with essential benefits such as Food Assistance and Emergency Rental Assistance. As the largest local social services agency in the country, HRA helps over 3 million New Yorkers through the administration of more than 12 major public assistance programs.
