Marvin L. Colson, MS, Clinical Associate Professor, was honored at the Dr. Hazel N. Dukes Distinguished Leadership 3rd Annual Awards Banquet on April 8. Professor Colson was honored in the New York State Youth and College Division of the NAACP New York State for his dedication and years of service. The NAACP Youth & College Division informs youth of the problems affecting African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities; and works to advance the economic, education, social and political status of African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities and their harmonious cooperation with other peoples. Professor Colson has worked for more than 25 years providing service within the Youth and College Division of the NAACP among other contributing roles within the organization.
