Platform Statement: Our code of ethics calls for social justice to influence every aspect of our profession. Over the years, I have spent ample time with members of varying marginalized communities. Being a member of one of these communities has provided me with an intimate knowledge of some of the hardships faced by ostracized communities. As Delegate Assembly Member, my main goal will be to improve upon the conditions faced by those communities facing oppression. My every decision will be informed by intersectionality and the voices of those most directly affected. As social workers, we believe in self-determination for our clients. I plan to do the same as an assembly member.
