MSW Graduate Elected to NASW Leadership Role

Beth Harris, MSW, 2010 was elected to the NASW-NYS Chapter Committee on Nominations and Leadership. She assumes this leadership role effective July 1, 2016. Beth is a social worker with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. She specializes in work with homeless Veterans, mental health practice, assessment and interventions.
In her social work career, Beth's experiences range from direct clinical practice, researcher, supervisory leadership, to social policy. Additionally, she has proposed mental health legislation in NY State, testified before the NYC Counsel Committee on Veterans and Mental Health, organized a NYC based coalition, has written grants, produced position statements, conducted research and created surveys."
