For the past 22 years, the School of Social Welfare has collaborated with the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs to hold a Leadership Conference on timely topics related to Challenges in Higher Education. Topics ranging from Diversity, Inclusion, Student Success, the African-Male Experience and many others have been explored in depth in a collaborative manner with some of our greatest thinkers, movers and shakers on campus. The vision of the symposium is to foster an opportunity for students to interact with each other through the shared experience of learning from and dialoging with knowledgeable professionals at SBU.
